The LIFE GOES ON music video concept is a slick montage of people getting on with their daily lives in quarantine conditions and also dancing along to the track itself. Members of the public have already been sending in footage since the beginning of April which is being used for the verse sections of the video and now we need a few vital stylised videos to complete chorus storytelling!
The first two videos need to be shot in a similar style to the existing videos. Documentary self-shot video style. Looking natural and not acted. Front facing or back facing phone camera is fine, please use highest resolution possible; no filters/effects/edits and please do NOT film using Snapchat or Instagram (they lower the resolution, even when you save directly to the phone from the app)
There are three shots needed.
1. DAILY LIFE: 2 (or more) Documentary style videos (around 15-30 seconds) of you getting on with one activity from your daily life in quarantine. This can be trampolining, writing, playing an instrument, teaching dad how to use TikTok, drawing, walking the dog etc. Can be handheld or static, portrait or landscape The important thing is that the video captures you doing the activity ie. you need to be in it! - it’s cool for other people to be in the video with you as long as they are aware it will potentially be used in the public music video
2. CHORUS RAVE: A fun high energy shot of you (and other people with you if possible) singing along to the whole chorus and one other section of the song (lyrics below). Don’t worry- your sound will be muted in the music video - so sing as loud as you want! The aim here is to go for lively, high action footage where we can see you singing along to the song so we can match it to the track. Feel free to interpret the lyrics in your own way - get silly, wear costumes, sunglasses, or rave in your onesie. This is about being free, joyful and positive.
3. HAND CLAPS; This video will be viewed as a small tile in a massive collage of other videos. We need medium wide shot of you (waist upward) against a wall or simple backdrop clapping along to claps in the post-chorus (from “life goes on and on, life goes on and on” up to “that dark is lonely place”.) - ideally singing along or for this you can just clap. (again you will be muted in the video!). Bring your personality and keep this loose and natural.

Have fun with it all - looking forward to seeing what you capture!
